In 2025, the global theme urges us to focus on ensuring access to mental health services during catastrophes and emergencies — a reminder that mental health support must be available to everyone, everywhere.

Emergencies — whether due to natural disasters, conflict, or economic crisis — impact not only our physical safety but also our emotional and psychological resilience. That’s why timely, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based mental health care is not a luxury — it’s a right.
