Training Lady Health Visitors and Community Midwives for Pakistan
IPHNM (Institute of Public Health Nursing and Midwifery) is a PNMC-recognised, NEBP-affiliated teaching institute at Mandra, Gujar Khan, Rawalpindi. It offers on-campus hostel accommodation so students from across Pakistan can attend without arranging separate housing. A daily pick and drop service runs from Islamabad and Rawalpindi, making the campus accessible for students from Chakwal, Attock, Jhelum and surrounding areas.
IPHNM trains women as Lady Health Visitors and Community Midwives: the people who reach patients at home, deliver babies in villages, and provide maternal and child health services in areas far from hospitals.
IPHNM is currently the only private teaching institute in the Rawalpindi and Islamabad area with full PNMC recognition for LHV and CMW programmes.
