About the bursary
The Global Institute of Human Development (GIHD), Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU) is offering a limited number of fully funded travel bursaries for early-career professionals who are interested in, passionate about, or working in mental health.
The bursary covers participation in the Pakistan Global Mental Health Summit 2026 and associated workshops from 30 September to 3 October 2026 in Islamabad.
What we expect from recipients
Take active part
Actively participate in the Summit and attend the associated workshops.
Volunteer where required
Support the Summit as a volunteer alongside the Organizing Committee where required.
Share your learnings
Publish at least one original piece of content within 7 days following the Summit, acknowledging the bursary received, and submit it to GIHD for verification. The format, topic and key messages will be refined during the post-conference workshop, with guidance and materials from GIHD.
Reimbursement
Eligible bursary-related expenses are reimbursed after the required content has been published and submitted, in accordance with the bursary terms.
The application form asks whether you need travel support and accommodation in Islamabad.
